Thank you to the students of Emory University who chose to spend a day of their Alternative Spring Break assisting Loving Food Resources. On Thursday, March 10th, they sanitized the pantry, packaged food, and personal care items for our clients. We are very grateful for your service to the pantry and our clients.
Thank You Asheville Pride Bowling League for the donation of 352 pounds of food and personal care items collected and for the check in the amount of $1100. We are very fortunate to have supporters like The Asheville Pride Bowling League.
Judith Oster of Caravans at the Grove Arcade presented Brent Wyatt, Executive Director of Loving Food Resources and Board Member Ruth Summers with a check for $300. This donation was the outcome of the Grove Arcade’s Give Back Day on December 15th where Merchants and Restaurants gave 15% of their sales that day to charity.
